Over the past two weeks, I have been GRINDING! Let me tell you one thing: it feels great. Putting effort into something you are truly invested in is magical. You don't feel the typical relief that something is over (such as finishing a homework assignment). You feel an overwhelming amount of accomplishment and enthusiasm... at least for me I did.
There are now two videos up on my new Youtube Channel which I will link on this page. To stay on top of things, I have designed a schedule for myself that holds me accountable. This entails me uploading once a week on Sundays. Throughout the rest of the week, I plan videos and edit like crazy. Just making these past two videos has been a blast and a half for me, because it is the first "school project" I have been involved in where I'm genuinely excited for what is to come next. However, this doesn't mean I haven't ran into road bumps through the process. There have been instances where I feel as if certain inconveniences or nerves are some sort of sign that I should just scrap it all. This ranges from technical issues all the way to me second guessing my content. Through these minor setbacks, I have had to remind myself to FAILLUMINATE. I have to take a step back, and recognize what is most important. I'd like to think that in all cases moving forward is more important than bathing in self sorrow (nobody likes a pity party... am I right?). Because of my failluminating spirit, I have been able to feel proud of myself and my content. There has even been a significant decrease in the amount of instances I doubt myself in real life situations. This tells me, that this project is deeper than just learning how to do hair. Don't get me wrong, I have LOVED learning a lot in the past few weeks about hair and editing videos, and I'm eager to expand my knowledge. Although, I am excited to also see more personal growth with it. Down below I will have my two newest videos linked, and the direct link to my channel can be found under the contact page.
