As the year winds down, it becomes a great time for reflection. This class, specifically, has been one of the biggest highlights of my junior year. Going into it, I didn't really know what to expect or what I was going to get out of it. However, I ended up getting more out of this class than any of my others.
Through the various projects, I have learned about ideation, problem solving, collaboration, design thinking, and living with a growth mindset. Before this class, I was unaware of the importance of some of the concepts I learned about. By practicing the skills while working on projects, I have grown tremendously in these areas. My favorite projects include the self-discovery project, learn something new, community partners, and my second semester project: teaching myself how to cut, color, and style hair as well as documenting the adventure on Youtube. I am thrilled to be continuing this class next year. New opportunities to learn more about myself and applicable life skills. Just because summer is closer than ever, it doesn't mean I will take a break from this class. You can expect to see regularly uploaded videos and vlogs over the summer. Hopefully, I will also run into more chances to broaden my horizons over the next few months. With all of that being said, I would like to send out all of my appreciation to my teachers, Mr. Guenin and Miss Habig. They are true gems (literally the coolest people I know). Without them, this class would not be possible. Their hard work, motivation, and dedication to helping us thrive is extremely admirable. I love this class, and I am so eager to see where it takes me. Keep updated with me on my YouTube Channel where I upload regularly: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzwjxeutcCs2V7zA2XQQHHg?view_as=subscriber Thanks, Hazel
